About the Role

We are actively hiring qualified and motivated M.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech / PhD graduates for the position of Research Scientist to support our expanding research operations. The selected candidates will be an integral part of our core R&D team, contributing to cutting-edge scientific projects in the domains of Genomics and Proteomics. This is a high-impact role that demands intellectual curiosity, scientific rigour, and a collaborative work ethic.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Research & Development

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in Genomics, Proteomics, Genetic Engineering, and allied Life Science domains
• Design, execute, and analyse experiments in accordance with project objectives and timelines
• Contribute to the development and optimisation of novel scientific methodologies and workflows
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date records of all experimental data and outcomes

2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Identify, investigate, and resolve technical errors or inconsistencies in experimental procedures
• Provide proactive support in the continuous improvement of laboratory techniques and protocols
• Collaborate with senior scientists and team members to validate and refine experimental approaches

3. Training, Workshops & Outreach

• Actively participate in internal and external trainings, workshops, seminars, and scientific outreach activities
• Contribute to knowledge transfer (KT) sessions within the team
• Represent the organisation in academic and industry events as required

4. Laboratory Management & Compliance

• Ensure general laboratory upkeep, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance at all times
• Strictly adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), laboratory rules, and institutional safety guidelines
• Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate procurement of lab consumables as needed
• Ensure compliance with all biosafety and regulatory standards applicable to the laboratory environment

5. Assigned Laboratory Duties

• Actively perform all assigned laboratory activities, experiments, and duties as directed by the project lead or reporting manager
• Support multiple concurrent projects with efficient time management and prioritisation
• Maintain a proactive and solution-oriented approach to daily laboratory operations
